4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Justin Fields, Quarterback, Ohio State

I really want the Gardner Minshew experiment to work, but I don’t think the Jaguars are built to last and the blame will fall on Minshew. With so many holes, it will be difficult for Jacksonville have success and Minshew could struggle through the season. So, next off-season a full rebuild begins for Jacksonville after a 3-13 season. I’m talking new GM, new coach, new quarterback, new running back, everything.

That rebuild starts here, the first of two first-round picks for Jacksonville. If Justin Fields falls to them with the fourth pick, they should jump at the opportunity to enter the new age of the quarterback with a mobile, strong-arm playmaker in Fields.

In the time before the draft, there’s a good chance that Fields will challenge Lawrence to be the top quarterback prospect in the class, which means him falling to the fourth pick would be a dream come true for the Jaguars who have missed time and time again on a franchise quarterback.

One route the Jaguars really haven’t tried is a true dual-threat. From Nick Foles to Blake Bortes to Blaine Gabbert, they all have fit a similar style. Fields would differ from that, which could bode well for Jacksonville.
