2021 NFL Draft: Washington Redskins get top pick in new mock draft
By Kyle Edmond
28. Baltimore Ravens: Andre Cisco, Safety, Syracuse
Baltimore is poised for another deep playoff run after having one of the best drafts in addition to having the NFL MVP. I have them going 12-4 and taking the AFC North once again. But when it comes to the playoffs, the task will be too much for the Ravens, failing to make it to the AFC Championship for the second consecutive season.
Now, as they look to the 2021 NFL Draft, there aren’t many needs for them to address. Baltimore had arguably the best draft this past year and is looking like a near flawless team on the surface, but there are a few spots they could look to upgrade, much like they did this season.
One spot that could use an upgrade is safety, specifically the strong side. They have Earl Thomas, but the loss of Eric Weddle is still having an impact on their secondary. In two seasons at Syracuse, Cisco has totaled 12 interceptions and is averaging over 40 solo tackles a season while having over 60 total tackles in each of his two years there.
He’s a ball-hawking safety with the ability to find and hit the ball at will, a very similar skill set to Weddle and Thomas.
