2021 NFL Draft: Washington Redskins get top pick in new mock draft
By Kyle Edmond
25. Cleveland Browns: Dylan Moses, Linebacker, Alabama
The Browns had another successful off-season, at least on the surface, adding much-needed pieces on the offensive line. However, like the Eagles, Cleveland lacks linebacker depth and could even use another starter.
As a whole, this team looks great on paper, but it will be on the coaching staff to get them to this draft position, which will require not only a playoff appearance but a playoff win. Looking over the schedule, I have the Browns at 10-6 and taking up a wild card slot before capturing a first-round win, a similar run to what the Titans had a year ago. When the dust settles, it will be back to the 2021 NFL Draft board for the Brown and Orange.
For Cleveland, Mack Wilson had a strong rookie campaign that could push the Browns to revisit Alabama’s linebackers in the 2021 NFL Draft. Here, they reunite Moses and Wilson to command linebacker corps. Moses could have been in this draft class, but a torn ACL in his knee put him out for the season and derailed those plans. Moses will have to prove he’s fully recovered and even then, with two major injuries in his time at Alabama, he will be lucky to be a first-round pick still.
