1. Washington Redskins: Trevor Lawrence, Quarterback, Clemson

The Redskins enter the season with multiple glaring holes on their team, making for a tough road ahead for new Head Coach Ron Rivera.

With so many holes and a tough division, I see the Redskins having trouble finding a win this season, placing them at 1-15 in projection. Should the Redskins have the season I think they will and end up with the first pick, it has to be Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence is currently the clear first selection, no matter who holds the pick. If a team doesn’t need a quarterback, then trading out will bring in a haul of picks.

Yes, the Redskins have a young quarterback in Dwayne Haskins, but the reality is if the Redskins have the first pick, odds are Haskins isn’t the answer. They could trade back and acquire more assets to build with, something I think would be a smart move, but here they opt for the best player in the draft in Lawrence.

Lawrence is being considered one of the best prospects in recent memory and has the talent to turnaround any team in an instant offensively. This should be something familiar to Rivera who saw a similar shift when Cam Newton came to Carolina.
