Taking a look at the single best 2020 NFL Draft picks made by each NFC East team.

The four teams in the NFC East certainly made their mark on the 2020 NFL Draft. The Washington Redskins were able to add the player who many consider to be the top overall prospect in the entire class and the Dallas Cowboys received high marks all around for their seven-round haul. The Philadelphia Eagles had one of the most controversial picks in the 2020 NFL Draft and the New York Giants sat back and found impressive value with many picks.

In this post, we are going to take a look at the best picks made by all four teams in the NFC East. They weren’t all perfect, but this division gave us plenty of strong choices to pick between Up first, probably the most obvious selection, Chase Young going to Washington at No. 2 overall.

Round 1, 2nd Overall

The first and second overall picks in the 2020 NFL Draft seemed to be set in stone for a while now.  As we expected, the Cincinnati Bengals took Joe Burrow at No. 1 to be their new franchise quarterback. The Washington Redskins quickly followed with the selection of Chase Young at No. 2.

Young was considered by most to be the top overall prospect in this draft class and for good reason. He is an incredible pass rusher from the defensive end position who should be able to come in and make an immediate impact. Young is incredibly quick off of the ball, showing fantastic bend around the edge and closes on the quarterback quickly. He has an impressive combination of power and athleticism that will immediately play at the next level.

The Redskins had much bigger needs than addressing their defensive line, but Young is simply too talented of a player to ignore. With the addition of Young, Washington gives new head coach Ron Rivera an elite defender to build his defense around. Young was a slam dunk selection at No. 2 for the Washington Redskins.
