Denver Broncos: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

Round 1, 15th Overall

The Denver Broncos did a fantastic job of finding value throughout the entire 2020 NFL Draft. They were able to find many potential contributors on both sides of the ball, with guys like KJ Hamler, Lloyd Cushenberry III, Justin Strnad and Netane Muti standing out as some of my favorite picks for this team. As strong as those picks were, their first-round selection of Jerry Jeudy stands above them all.

Jeudy was considered by many to be the top wide receiver in an absolutely loaded 2020 NFL Draft class at the position. Jeudy is a phenomenal route runner who has a knack for creating separation at all times. No matter whether he is facing man or zone and what kind of route he is running, Jeudy always seems to be able to get himself open.

He is also a major threat after the catch. Jeudy is an absolute magician in the open field, showing tremendous elusiveness as a ball carrier and impressive quickness in short spaces. His deep speed is not elite, but he plays fast at all times and can separate against most defenders if he finds a path.

Simply put, Jeudy is a rock-solid and dependable receiver who also has a ton of upside at the next level. He can make an impact in the short, intermediate and deep passing games and is a perfect receiver to compliment Courtland Sutton. I give the Broncos a ton of credit for using the NFL Draft to get quarterback Drew Lock as much help as possible and Jeudy is obviously a major part of that.
