Of all of the picks made in the 2020 NFL Draft, these five players bring the best value to their new teams based on where they were selected.

The 2020 NFL Draft has come and gone and many teams have significantly improved their rosters, both for the short and long-term. With the pandemic forcing the NFL Draft to go completely digital, it was certainly a unique and interesting experience to watch, but honestly, I think teams most did better than they usually do.

There seemed to be fewer players unnecessarily fall down the board. It felt like teams and decision-makers let the tape and on-field success of these prospects do the talking, instead of being fooled by good impressions on visits.

Obviously, getting to know a player can be important, but as long as there are no character or injury concerns, nothing is more important than what these guys can do on the field. In year’s past, teams seemed to put too much stock in these visits. I wonder if the inability to make in-person visits helped protect some teams from themselves. For the most part, I think the NFL did a nice job of picking the right players in the 2020 NFL Draft.

That being said, there will still a handful of players who fell a bit further than they should have and ended up being strong value selections for the teams that were able to land them. In this post, we are going to highlight and rank these players based on who was the best pick. Basically, we are looking for the biggest steals in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the five best picks made by NFL teams in the 2020 NFL Draft.
