As far as quarterback names go, Brock Purdy is on a level of his own.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are understandably all-in on Tom Brady right now, but they need to put contingencies in place and they use the 2021 NFL Draft to do it in this case.

Brock Purdy was outstanding for Iowa State last season, completing nearly 66 percent of his passes with 27 touchdowns and just nine interceptions. He also showed off his value as a dual threat with eight rushing touchdowns.

Purdy has the raw talent and playmaking ability to be a starter at the NFL level, and being an understudy to Tom Brady his first year in the league would be a borderline ideal scenario.
