2021 NFL Draft: The first tank for Trevor Lawrence mock draft
The Atlanta Falcons made one of the more intriguing moves of the 2020 offseason when they signed former Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley to a one-year contract.
No one knows how Gurley is going to work out in Atlanta, but it’s going to be fun to watch it all unfold.
Because he’s only on a one-year deal, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Atlanta go a completely different direction in 2021, and if Travis Etienne is on the board when they pick, he’s got a chance to be Gurley’s successor.
Etienne is special, for more reasons other than just his tremendous speed. This kid has playmaker written all over him. He can make defenders miss in a variety of ways and there’s no question he has some of the best speed of any skill player in this class.
