The 2020 NFL Draft is in the history books. Check out the storylines that are projected to be the biggest in the 2021 NFL Draft.

With the 2020 NFL Draft firmly in the history books, we look towards the next chapter in college football history. Assuming, of course, the season starts at the regularly scheduled time, we are less than four months away from the start of college football. And with it comes the start of the scouting process for the 2021 NFL Draft.

Despite the stay-at-home orders currently putting the 2020 college season in limbo, athletic directors and college coaches across the country are progressing with their preseason preparations. Short of a major escalation of COVID-19 infections and subsequent lockdowns, the assumed plan is to start the regular season on time.

With the start of Week 1 at the end of the summer, the final college football season for hundreds of prospects will begin. One final chance to put together a solid football resume for NFL scouts and general managers. One final season of autumn football to put their best stuff forward, in hopes of being drafted early in the 2021 NFL Draft.

And while scouting 2021 Draft prospects in May might seem premature, you can believe NFL scouts are already watching last year’s tape, preparing notes on which prospects to keep an eye out for this year. Already there is a hierarchy of sorts forming, players who appear more pro-ready than others that will have NFL scouts tracking their progress from the start of preseason training.

In this article, we’ll explore which three storylines that are likely to define next year’s draft narrative. We’ll explore the biggest headlines of the 2021 NFL Draft, the players involved and the teams to watch. We’ll break down projected 2021 quarterbacks in the draft and what they need to do in the upcoming season to get NFL interest. Plus, we’ll look at the college team with the most NFL talent and some of the top prospects that will be eligible to declare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
