5.179. Bradlee Anae, DE, Utah

The Dallas Cowboys get more value yet again in the 2020 NFL Draft selecting Utah defensive end Bradlee Anae in the fifth round. Somehow Anae was still available when Dallas picked in the fifth round and they did the smart thing ending his fall.

Anae doesn’t posses any freakish athleticism or bend for an edge rusher, but he does have power. He’s very good at the point of attack consistently getting his hands out quickly. The biggest thing that jumps out when watching his tape is his endless motor. If you want a guy that will pour his blood, sweat and tears into every snap Anae is your guy. He’s a high character guy that loves to compete and could be a late-round steal for the Dallas Cowboys.

7.231. Ben DiNucci, QB, James Madison

This wasn’t too much of a surprise pick by the Dallas Cowboys as head coach Mike McCarthy stated he wants to improve the quarterback depth behind Prescott. There’s not anything good behind him as Cooper Rush is behind Dak as the number two quarterback and Clayton Thorson was signed to the practice squad last year.

Ben DiNucci is a well-traveled college quarterback starting at the University of Pittsburgh where he redshirted and backed up Nathan Peterman. He transferred to James Madison for his junior season where he started all 13 games throwing for 2,275 yards with 16 touchdowns. As a senior, he started 16 games and put up some good numbers throwing for 3,441 yards with 29 touchdowns.
