Cincinnati Bengals were able to put together a strong 2020 NFL Draft class.

The Cincinnati Bengals had seven picks in the 2020 NFL Draft and held the top selection in the draft after finishing with a 2-14 record. I’m grading each pick made by the Cincinnati Bengals in all seven rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Cincinnati Bengals had one pick in each round holding selections 1,33, 65, 107, 147, 180 and 215. The first selection in round one the Cincinnati Bengals drafted quarterback Joe Burrow from the LSU Tigers. With the 33rd pick, the Cincinnati Bengals stuck to the offensive side of the ball and gave Burrow another weapon with Clemson wide receiver Tee Higgins.

The Cincinnati Bengals switched over to the defensive side with their third, fourth, and fifth-round picks and took linebacker Logan Wilson from Wyoming with the 65th pick and linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaithers with the 107th pick. Then the Cincinnati Bengals took the defensive end, Khalid Kareem, from the Norte Dame Fighting Irish with the 147th selection.

In round six, the Bengals shire up their offensive line with tackle Hakeem Adeniji from Kansas with the 180th selection. The Bengals finished up in round seven taking another linebacker, Markus Bailey from Purdue, making that three linebackers total in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Cincinnati Bengals have addressed some of their needs in this draft like quarterback, wide receiver, linebacker, and offensive line. I would have liked them to add another offensive lineman to the mix but overall they added plenty of depth on the defensive side of the ball.

Another thing the Bengals did well was nabbing Tee Higgins at the start of round two who is truly a first-round talent for Joe Burrow to throw to. I give this entire 2020 NFL Draft class for the Cincinnati Bengals an A- rating. Make no mistake about it, this class will help the Bengals improve in Zac Taylor’s second season.

I will grade each and every pick that the Cincinnati Bengals made throughout all seven rounds from Thursday night’s Burrow selection all the way to Bailey’s selection at 215th overall on Saturday afternoon.
