With the 2020 NFL Draft in the books, we grade each pick made by the Tennessee Titans and take a look at how the team did as a whole.

The Tennessee Titans, led by head coach Mike Vrabel, made a very impressive playoff run in 2019, reaching the AFC Championship Game. This offseason, the organization was in the hands of general manager Jon Robinson to improve the team in free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft.

Robinson did a good job of bringing back the two main pieces from the team’s run last season. The Tennessee Titans placed the franchise tag on the NFL leading rusher, Derrick Henry, with hopes of coming to terms on a long-term contract with the bruising back.

At quarterback, the team turned to Ryan Tannehill part-way through the 2019 season and found great success. So much success that they decided to give him a four-year, $118 million contract extension.

However, wrapping up so much money in those two spots did not allow the Tennessee Titans to bring back some other very important players on their roster. Former All-Pro right tackle Jack Conklin, veteran Pro Bowlers Jurrell Casey and Delanie Walker and elite slot corner Logan Ryan are all no longer in the fold in Tennessee.

These major departures really weren’t filled in free agency, leaving glaring holes on the roster heading into the 2020 NFL Draft. Those are some big shoes to fill for a rookie, but the Titans had to try to address as many of these needs as they could through the draft.

Did Robinson, Vrabel and the Tennessee Titans do so effectively? Let’s take a look.
