2020 NFL Draft: Green Bay Packers post-draft grades
The Green Bay Packers might have constructed one of the worst draft classes in recent memory. Here are their full 2020 NFL Draft pick grades.
After a 13-3 debut season from head coach Matt LaFleur, the Green Bay Packers made it all the way to the NFC Championship game before being bested by the San Francisco 49ers. Even with the crushing defeat, the team proved that not only does Aaron Rodgers have a few good years left in him, but that their defense is capable of competing at a championship level.
With a few more pieces, the Green Bay Packers could put together one last Super Bowl run with Rodgers at the helm and it was expected that those pieces would come via the 2020 NFL Draft. Well, the festivities have now been completed and Packers fans everywhere are left with more questions than answers.
They kicked things off by shocking the Draft world with their first-round selection of Utah State quarterback, Jordan Love, and things never got any better after that. While wide receiver was widely believed to be the team’s biggest need going into the 2020 NFL Draft, 35 were taken in this historic class and the Packers took none of them. While that may be the biggest knock on a rough weekend for Green Bay, nearly every pick after the selection of Love felt like a major reach.
It’s hard to come up with anything positive to say about this class so let’s just jump right into the grades for each Green Bay Packers 2020 NFL Draft pick.
