Scouting Report. QB. Pick Analysis. Alabama. Tua Tagovailoa. 5. player. 59

If Tua Tagovailoa did not have the injury issues, he would have challenged Joe Burrow for the top spot in the 2020 NFL Draft. However, the injuries he has suffered and his overall durability is a concern and did cause him to slip a bit in this draft.

That being said, Tagovailoa is an incredibly talented quarterback prospect who undoubtedly has massive upside at the next level. The Miami Dolphins have been enamored with him for a long time and they deserve credit for putting this plan in place to get him as their franchise quarterback. The Tank for Tua plan was very real and while it did not go exactly according to plan, the Dolphins were still able to get their guy.
