The Atlanta Falcons will look to utilize their day three selections to build needed depth at some positions where they are currently lacking.

The talent on the Atlanta Falcons roster is one of the best in the NFL currently. However, the reason for their struggle to compete for a playoff spot over the course of the last couple of seasons is the injuries that they have endured across both sides of the football. Day three of the 2020 NFL Draft is where the Falcons will look to build that needed depth in many positions across the roster.

With many of the depth concerns coming from the defensive side of the football, it is easy to assume that they will utilize much of the later parts of the 2020 NFL Draft on the defensive side of the ball. The Atlanta Falcons’ offense has not brought much concern throughout the last handful of seasons with it surrounding the passing game. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have been the center of the Atlanta Falcons offense for years now, and they show no sign of slowing down.

Keanu Neal has been the center of the injury concerns on the defense for the Atlanta Falcons where he has missed 28 games over the last two seasons. As a former Pro Bowler, Neal missing the time he has over the course of the last two seasons has caused the secondary of the Atlanta Falcons to play much of the season depleted with much less depth.

Here, I will give out some of my favorite names for the Atlanta Falcons to target on day three that will provide the needed depth at some positions on both sides of the football.
