Late-Round prospects Miami Dolphins should target in 2020 NFL Draft
Offensive Line
While the Miami Dolphins will likely address the offensive line early and often in the 2020 NFL Draft, the rebuild up front needs to be more than just one or two players. Building a strong unit for whoever starts at quarterback is important.
1. Terence Steele, Texas Tech
First up here is Texas Tech’s Terence Steele. Steele got to show what he’s got for scouts at the Senior Bowl and put together a solid week. He’s tough and competitive at the tackle spot and has good grip strength to stay engaged with defenders. Steele will get beat to the outside at times, but there’s enough to develop there to select on day three.
2. Hakeem Adeniji, Kansas
Hakeem Adeniji is another prospect to watch for the Dolphins on day three. Adeniji played left tackle in his time with the Jayhawks, but it’s likely that his best position at the next level will be guard.
In Mobile, the instant he moved inside, his game improved. Adeniji has good balance, strong hands, and drops anchor really well against power rushers, which is a perfect fit to transition to guard. His one knock will be his struggles in a zone scheme, but he can become a good pass protector for Miami.
