Las Vegas Raiders 7-round 2020 mock draft: Adding a playmaker
By Tyler Kirk
Round 4
With the 121st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the Las Vegas Raiders select, Tyler Biadasz center from Wisconsin. Biadasz is an NFL ready prospect that comes from the college the produces NFL offensive lineman. The Las Vegas Raiders have a great center in Rodney Hudson who just signed a three-year extension in 2019.
This move is just purely taking the best player available. I do think the Biadasz has the smarts and skill set to transition to guard if he has too, but his best position is center. Biadasz comes to the Raiders bringing consistency at the position. He is a steady run blocker and has strong hands a lower body at the point of attack.
Biadasz needs to improve his short lateral quickness, especially if the Raiders were to ask him to pull and move. He struggled with this at Wisconsin. I think that Biadasz has play now potential if all his medicals check out. He had an AC scope of his right shoulder this offseason. Biadasz is a very tough player and would fit in with the Raiders offensive line immediately.
If the Las Vegas Raiders did move on from Hudson in the next year or so this would give them a potential replacement while saving money. Overall, the Raiders needed to add some youth to this offensive line and why not do so with Tyler Biadasz? I can remember a kid a few years ago that came out of Wisconsin that got drafted to high and played center with slow feet. His name was Travis Fredrick and he turned out to be a multiple pro-bowl player.
While drafting a center isn’t the “flashy” pick, this pick is more-so about the future.
