player. 47. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Quarterback. Utah State. Jordan Love. 23

This doesn’t seem like the most logical pairing in my mind, but if a top quarterback prospect is available at this point in the 2020 NFL Mock Draft, how does Bill Belichick say no?

With an emotionless scowl on his face may be the correct answer, but the upside of a player like Jordan Love may be too much to pass up. Bill could have the chance to mold his own young and talented QB, showing that his system can work with anyone.

I would think Bill would really love Tua, and may even be willing to trade up for him if he falls a bit. But in this scenario, the Patriots get a raw thrower with Patrick Mahomes-like potential, but a less-productive Jameis Winston floor given his gunslinger mentality and turnover levels in college.

24. player. 15. Pick Analysis. Linebacker. LSU. Scouting Report. Patrick Queen

Quickly after Murray is drafted, Patrick Queen comes off the board. Queen doesn’t have to trek far from LSU to find his new home in New Orleans.

With a very talented and well-rounded roster, the Saints don’t have many glaring needs and could look towards their future a bit. A quarterback like Jordan Love could definitely be in play, as this appears to be Drew Brees’ final season.

The Saints have some decent linebackers, but outside of Demario Davis none of them really excite me. The entire linebacking corps is getting up there in age, so infusing some youth may be helpful. Queen is a very raw player who would benefit from learning behind these guys but possesses the instincts and athletic ability to become a true MIKE linebacker and a very good one at that.
