Clemson. player. Pick Analysis. Cornerback. A.J. Terrell. 19. 28. Scouting Report

Mike Mayock clearly loves him some Clemson Tigers. Some may say he even lines reaching for Clemson Tigers, after taking Clelin Ferrell fourth overall a year ago. Last year, Mayock drafted three players from the Clemson program.

This year, the Raiders really need help at the cornerback position, and one of the best prospects at that spot happens to be from Clemson. A.J. Terrell seems like a no-brainer here.

Terrell has been noted for his terrible outing against LSU in the National Championship Game. But to his credit, no one really looks good trying to cover Ja’marr Chase and he was productive the rest of the season as a long and physical shutdown corner.

Terrell will join his former secondary mate, Trayvon Mullen, along with the plethora of other Clemson Tigers Mike Mayock has accrued in his short time as the GM of the Raiders.

52. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Safety. Xavier McKinney. player. Alabama. 20

The Jacksonville Jaguars make another key addition to their secondary in Xavier McKinney with their second first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

McKinney really does it all as a safety. He has great ball skills in zone, he can cover man to man, he is solid in run support and is a great blitzer. Thriving as a split safety, McKinney will be an upgrade over any safety on their roster, and would pair incredibly well as a dynamic duo in the secondary for years to come.
