QB- Nathan Stanley, Iowa

If the Giants want a younger arm behind Daniel Jones as the starter and Colt McCoy as the backup, Nate Stanley could the guy they can target in the seventh round. Alex Tanney, at 32-years-old, is still on the roster and signed a two-year extension before the 2019 season.

Nate Stanley could fit with the Giants as a conventional pro-style quarterback and at 6-foot-4, 235 pounds, the senior has the measurables. At Iowa, he threw for over 8,000 yards and 68 touchdowns to 23 interceptions in his three years starting. However, Stanley never had a completion rating of over 60% in a single season and could last till the later rounds on day three.

RB- Pete Guerriero, Monmouth

The running back position could use more competition behind Saquon Barkley. With Dion Lewis as the backup, Wayne Gallman and Jonathan Hilliman are next in line for depth. Gallman and Hilliman did not show much when Barkley when down, so investing some more talent at that position is likely in the last couple rounds of the draft.

The Giants won’t address this spot early but they could bring in another local kid from Monmouth late in the draft. The senior amassed almost 2,000 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns in 2019, as Pete Guerriero is a good example of a small school prospect producing against lower competition. At 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, he was the focal point of their offense and has special teams experience that could be useful enough to get him drafted in the last round.
