The 49ers got an offer they couldn’t refuse, and here with the 13th overall pick, they are staring in the face a player they can’t pass up to replace him.
Although Kinlaw isn’t going to be able to come in and immediately be DeForest Buckner, he has a tremendous potential at the next level as a disruptor on the interior defensive line.
He absolutely dominated at the Senior Bowl and established himself as one of the top 10 players in this class. For the 49ers to get Kinlaw after trading Buckner is a huge stroke of good fortune.
