Clemson. player. Scouting Report. CB. Pick Analysis. AJ Terrell. 12. 28

Here’s a shocker, but then again — the Raiders did this to us all last year by taking Clelin Ferrell with the fourth overall pick.

They followed up the Ferrell selection by taking cornerback Trayvon Mullen in the second round, another pick that was somewhat surprising. Later on, they took Clemson’s slot receiver Hunter Renfrow.

It’s clear that the Raiders have taken a tremendous liking to the Clemson program and Terrell, whose game against Ja’Marr Chase and LSU was certainly a black eye, has huge upside as a possible CB1 in the NFL.

The Raiders had a deal with free agent cornerback Eli Apple fall through and they were unable to land a big fish at the position in free agency. Taking Terrell here seems like a massive reach but there has been consistent buzz building for Terrell going in the top 16 picks and he might not last past 17 and the Dallas Cowboys.
