Isaiah Hodgins, WR, Oregon State

The Buffalo Bills have a good group of receivers with Stefon Diggs, John Brown and Cole Beasley. Adding to this core is essential for this team. With a young quarterback Josh Allen, the Bills should draft him as many young weapons as possible to make him successful.

Hodgins isn’t the most explosive athlete in this class but he is right up there at the top with the way he catches the ball. I could sit here and argue that Hodgins has the best hands in this class. Don’t let the combine numbers scare you with his 4.61 40-yard dash time. He plays much faster than that on film.

I love the way that Hodgins adjusts to the football in the air, displaying amazing ball control and the ability to shield defenders to get the ball. He has sticky hands at the point of attack and wins a ton of contested catches. Hodgins is a lengthy receiver at six-foot-three and has an 80 1/2 inch wingspan.

I think this pick adds some height to the Buffalo Bills receivers and allows them to instantly have a red-zone target. Hodgins does a great job mixing up start and stop speeds within route which helps his ability to sell double moves.

This pick would be a solid choice for the Buffalo Bills to add in the later rounds of the draft. I believe that Hodgins has all the tools to be successful in the NFL and with a year of developing his body in an offseason program, it will take his game to the next level.
