Who are the Arizona Cardinals able to land in this seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft?

With Kliff Kingsbury calling the shots and Kyler Murray leading the way, the Arizona Cardinals are quickly becoming one of the most interesting teams in the entire NFL. Murray is a perfect fit for Kingsbury’s wide-open offense and he showed tremendous playmaking ability as a rookie last season. Now that he has DeAndre Hopkins in his arsenal of weapons, the Cardinals offense has a chance to explode into one of the best offensive units in the entire NFL.

That being said, they still have holes on this roster that must be addressed going forward. Their offensive line needs some work and they could certainly use another dependable receiving option for Murray in the passing game. However, the Arizona Cardinals cannot ignore their defense in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Last season, Arizona allowed a league-high 402 total yards per game. They also allowed 27.6 points per contest, the fifth-highest total in the entire league. Led by edge rusher Chandler Jones and cornerback Patrick Peterson, this defense undoubtedly has some nice pieces, but they still need some help on that side of the ball.

It will be tempting for the Arizona Cardinals to continue to build up their high-powered offense in the 2020 NFL Draft. However, they have to remember how poor their defense played last season. Riding that line between getting Murray more help and filling their defensive holes will not be easy, but the Cardinals need to make sure to legitimately address needs on both sides of the ball in this upcoming draft.

Let’s see if we can get the Arizona Cardinals some help on both sides of the ball in this seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.
