Offensive Line

The Minnesota Vikings will look to prioritize the offensive line early in the draft and with talented offensive tackles at the top of the draft and good day two prospects, they should get their man. With the offensive line potentially a greater priority than the depleted secondary, the Vikings should look to add depth during the final day of the draft.

Guard Michael Onwenu is an intriguing day-three prospect. Onwenu was a three-year starter after playing both offensive and defensive lines during his freshman year. He lines up best against physical defenders but will need time to adapt to a speed rush. While Onwenu will need time to adapt to NFL pace and improve his footwork, he has the strength and physical attributes to be coached into a professional lineman.

After starting his career with UMass, Jack Driscoll played his final two seasons at tackle as a grad transfer for Auburn. Driscoll has the athleticism to be an effective tackle in the right system but lacks the size to be an early-round pick. While he only played tackle at both UMass and Auburn teams could consider moving Driscoll to guard, making Driscoll and enticing project.
