Offensive Tackle. 3. 35. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Charlotte. Cameron Clark. player

After losing All-Pro right tackle Jack Conklin to the Cleveland Browns in free agency, bringing in another dominant right tackle should be a priority for the Tennessee Titans in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Now I would expect the Titans to address that need early in the 2020 NFL Draft, maybe even in the first round with the 29th overall selection. Isaiah Wilson has been getting first-round buzz lately and I really love the fit of Lucas Niang in Tennessee.

However, if the Titans opt to go in a different direction in the early rounds of the draft, I think they could still find a very quality option later. Among those options is Charlotte tackle Cameron Clark.

Clark played left tackle at Charlotte, but his dominance in the run game makes him a great fit to play right tackle in the Titans offense. Clark fires out of his stance quickly as a run blocker, getting his hands on the defender and turning them to open up holes for his back. When engaged, he displays good drive, churning his legs and often finishing his blocks to the ground.

Some think Clark is best suited as a guard at the next level, but at 6-foot-4 and with over 34-inch arms, Clark is actually rather effective as a pass protector at tackle. He has strong arms, a powerful base and generally exhibits sound technique as a pass blocker.

Like Lynch for Casey, Clark is far from fully filling the shoes of a player like Jack Conklin. He is a little raw, but I think he does enough right now to be the best right tackle option on their roster with the potential to be a Pro Bowler.
