The Miami Dolphins have a ton of capital in the 2020 NFL Draft, meaning a move up is likely. They do so here in this latest mock draft.

The time is coming for the Miami Dolphins. After a respectable 5-11 campaign in 2019, the rebuild began in the offseason. General manager Chris Grier was busy during the early free agency period. He brought in corner Byron Jones to pair with Xavien Howard, signing him to a five-year, $82.5 million deal. That pairing, along with Nik Needham in the slot, should have Dolphins fans swooning for the secondary.

Miami also went after former Patriots in free agency, signing both Kyle Van Noy and Elandon Roberts. Van Noy got $51 million, which is near the top in the league. There were other improvements made on defense as well, especially on the edge, with both Shaq Lawson and Emmanuel Ogbah coming to town.

The offensive line got a bit of a boost as well, as Ted Karras and Ereck Flowers were both signed by Miami. Karras can compete for the center spot, and Flowers would be best suited to play guard, though there’s a chance he plays tackle.

There were a couple underrated signings as well. Clayton Fejedelem will be a great special teams guy, and Jordan Howard can be a very good complementary back to whoever the Miami Dolphins decide to draft.

Speaking of the 2020 NFL Draft, that’s where the focus shifts now. With three first round picks, it’s very likely we see the Dolphins trade up, whether it be to get their guy at quarterback or even get one of the big four at offensive tackle. Let’s take a look at who they select in this seven round mock!
