Of all of the Los Angeles Rams that left the team in free agency this offseason, the loss of Cory Littleton may be the most impactful. Littleton ended up signing with Oakland, leaving a huge hole at inside linebacker in LA.

While I could easily see the Rams addressing such a significant need a little earlier in the draft, if they do decide to wait, a player that has been skyrocketing up boards of late is Logan Wilson out of Wyoming.

Wilson was a high school defensive back and wide receiver who transitioned to linebacker upon his arrival at the University of Wyoming. That athleticism and experience on both sides of the football are pretty evident when watching him play too. He has a natural ability to move downhill when targeting ball-carriers and is quick to diagnose and sift through traffic.

His production is pretty eye-popping as well, as he totaled over 400 career tackles and came down with an incredible 10 interceptions in 39 career starts (started every game in his career.

Wilson has all of the traits that the Rams should be looking for as potential Littleton replacement and with how thin the unit is at the moment, he could immediately slide into a prominent role in year one.
