Pick Analysis. Southern Illinois. 53. Scouting Report. S. Jeremy Chinn. 31. player

In this scenario, the Browns send pick 97 overall to the draft capital-starved San Francisco 49ers, who have another pick in the earlier portion of the first round.

This trade would give San Francisco picks in all three of the first three rounds after the trades they’ve made over the last 12 months to both deplete and replenish their draft pick hoard.

For the Browns? This trade gives them a chance to make sure they get a safety prospect they covet, even after signing Karl Joseph and Andrew Sendejo.

Ultimately, they might have something solid with both of those players, but Jeremy Chinn has the type of upside to be a star in the NFL, and his stock has risen substantially throughout the entire pre-draft process.

Not only is he a tremendous athlete, but Chinn is also a really good, aggressive, instinctive player who has a nose for the football.

He would be ideal for Cleveland as a rookie matching up with players as a big nickel, playing in the box, covering tight ends, and eventually roaming around the back end. In Joe Woods’ defense, he could play the ‘TJ Ward’ role on the defense Woods was part of coaching in Super Bowl 50 with Denver.
