2020 NFL Draft: Four teams find franchise QB in two-round NFL mock draft
The Titans are looking to add a player or two onto their defensive line that already consists of two young playmakers. 2019 first-round Jeffery Simmons and undrafted college free agent Isaiah Mack both have one year under their belt. Adding some depth at defensive end and tackle is a priority early on in this draft and they take Gross-Matos here.
Gross-Matos had back-to-back solid seasons at Penn State and was a solid pass-rusher totaling 19 sacks over three seasons. He ranks tenth all-time in Penn State history in sacks.
Biggest Needs: Edge, IDL, OT
The Packers defiantly need a playmaker alongside Davante Adams and Brandon Aiyuk can be that guy. There are a few options at wide receiver the Packers could look at here with this pick but I really like Aiyuk’s speed down the field compared to players like Denzel Mims, Laviska Shenault, and Jalen Reagor.
Aiyuk had a solid senior season at Arizona State with 65 receptions, 1,192 yards, and eight touchdowns. He can slide in as the number two receiver on the depth chart and players like Allen Lazard and Devin Funchess are great depth options for Aaron Rodgers to throw to. Funchess was signed to a one year deal in free agency.
Biggest Needs: WR, TE
After the Falcons traded down to land cornerback Kristian Fulton they move up back into the first round to take an interior defensive lineman. The Falcons give up their third-round pick in this draft and a 2021 second-round pick to move up from 47th to 31st overall. They still hold the two third-rounders they acquired from New England earlier in the night.
The Falcons need an interior defensive lineman to pair alongside Grady Jarrett who has been the anchor of the defense and Neville Gallimore is an exciting prospect who could come in and make an immediate impact.
Biggest Needs: CB, IDL, Edge
The Super Bowl champs first priority is finding cornerback help on defense then interior offensive line and running back help. The latter two they can wait to the middle rounds to add at those positions but with a number of cornerbacks already off the board, the Chiefs have to make cornerback a priority here. They take Noah Igbinoghene from Auburn with the 32nd pick of this 2020 NFL Draft scenario.
The Chiefs currently have a younger core of cornerbacks but they need to find a number one corner and Igbinoghene can be just that for the Chiefs. He is a bit of a raw talent, but Igbinoghene has an ideal skill-set at the cornerback position and a ton of long-term upside.
Biggest Needs: CB, IOL, RB
