2020 NFL Draft: Four-Round 2020 NFL mock draft with exciting trades
After trading for DeAndre Hopkins, the Arizona Cardinals are extremely unlikely to take a wide receiver in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. I would not be surprised to see them address the position eventually in the draft, but a first-round receiver feels like overkill.
Instead of loading up with another receiver, the Cardinals address their offensive line situation with their first pick of this mock draft. Jedrick Wills Jr. is arguably the best offensive lineman in the 2020 NFL Draft class and would be able to come in and immediately take on a major role for the Cardinals.
Wills is quick off of the ball and incredibly powerful at the point of attack. He is a mean and nasty blocker who has an incredibly powerful initial punch and tremendous grip strength. Wills is a fantastic run blocker who moves well in space and moves defenders with ease. He also gets into his pass sets quickly and simply does a tremendous job of keeping the defenders away from his quarterback.
The Cardinals must continue to spend resources to help Kyler Murray grow at the quarterback position and Wills certainly fits the bill. He is a tremendous offensive tackle prospect who has a safe floor and a high ceiling.
