Wisconsin. 48. RB. Jonathan Taylor. 45. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

With Tom Brady under center, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to want to establish the run and become a more balanced offense in 2020. Ronald Jones II has shown some promise the last couple of seasons, but he has not been good enough to force the Bucs away from trying to land an impact running back in the 2020 NFL Draft. With Jonathan Taylor on the board with their second-round pick, this feels like a no-brainer.

Taylor is a smart and patient back who shows impressive ball carrier vision. He also shows a bit short-area quickness, but really shines with his impressive combination of speed and power at the point of attack. Taylor has impressive burst through the hole and is always working to create extra yards after the initial contact point.

Taylor is not much of a playmaker as a receiver out of the backfield and he did handle a huge load of carries in college, which is concerning for his long-term value at the next level. That being said, Taylor is arguably the most NFL-ready running back in the 2020 NFL Draft and he would undoubtedly help take the Bucs’ offense to the next level right away.

Pick Analysis. WR. 46. player. 45. Scouting Report. TCU. Jalen Reagor

After missing out on the top-tier receivers in the first round, the Denver Broncos take a shot on some athletic upside at the position here in the second. Jalen Reagor is an incredibly quick and explosive wide receiver prospect who can separate with ease in his routes and consistently creates well after the catch.

Reagor is never going to be much of a contested-catch weapon, but this guy is an absolute game-changer who can take the ball to the house from anywhere on the field. Reagor lacks size, but more than makes up for it with explosive speed and natural elusiveness in the open field. He would be the perfect compliment to Courtland Sutton as the No. 2 receiver in the Broncos’ offensive attack.

RB. Ohio State. J.K. Dobbins. player. Scouting Report. 47. 44. Pick Analysis

The early-to-mid second round feels like the sweet spot for these top-tier running back prospects. Here at No. 47, another goes off of the board as the Atlanta Falcons take J.K. Dobbins to replace Devonta Freeman in the backfield.

Dobbins had an incredible 2019 season, rushing for 2,003 yards and 21 touchdowns on 301 carries. He shows fantastic ball carrier vision and impressive burst through the hole. Dobbins should be an immediate offensive playmaker at the next level and would be a nice value pick in this range.

Pick Analysis. 48. player. 30. Scouting Report. WR. Arizona State. Brandon Aiyuk

The New York Jets snagged an offensive tackle to help protect Sam Darnold in the first round and here, they find him a dynamic pass-catching weapon. Brandon Aiyuk is a quick and athletic wide receiver prospect who is an absolute game-changer with the ball in his hands. He is both explosive and elusive in the open field and could quickly become the primary receiver for Darnold in the Jets’ offense.
