Scouting Report. S. Southern Illinois. Jeremy Chinn. Pick Analysis. 37. player. 50

The Detroit Lions have already made significant additions to the defensive side of the ball in this mock draft and they do so again here. Jeremy Chinn is a premier in-the-box safety in this draft class who shows a tremendous combination of quickness and physicality at the position.

Chinn is always flying to the ball, is a physical and reliable tackler and shows plenty of upside in coverage. Simply put, Chinn is a tremendous natural playmaker who would be able to come in and make a significant impact for the Lions in the secondary.

Alabama. Trevon Diggs. player. 87. Pick Analysis. CB. 38. Scouting Report

After losing James Bradberry to free agency, the Carolina Panthers could certainly use some help at the cornerback position. Trevon Diggs is a big, long and physical cornerback who also shows a ton of athletic upside. He is a bit of a raw talent, but Diggs makes sense for the Panthers as they appear to be building for the long-term.

D'Andre Swift. 39. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. RB. Georgia. player. 59

Finally, the first running back comes off the board here at No. 39. The 2020 NFL Draft is loaded with exciting talent at the running back position, but teams simply do not place a high value on the position. A back or two could potentially sneak into the late first round, but I would not bet on it.

D’Andre Swift is the best running back in the 2020 NFL Draft class, showing an ability to make an impact as both a runner and receiver at the next level. Swift is extremely elusive in the open field and he has the explosive speed to take the ball to the house from anywhere on the field. Swift would be a welcomed addition to the Miami Dolphins as they continue to rebuild their offense.

10. Pick Analysis. Josh Uche. 40. player. Scouting Report. EDGE. Michigan

This may seem like a reach to some, but Josh Uche is an incredibly gifted edge rusher who has massive upside at the next level. Uche is extremely quick off of the ball and shows wicked bend around the edge. He also shows a ton of promise when asked to drop back into coverage. The pass rush was once a major strength of the Texans’ roster, but they struggled to create any consistent pressure last season. Getting Uche into the mix would undoubtedly help.
