With the 2020 NFL Draft just two weeks away, here is a seven-round predictive mock draft for the Chicago Bears.

The Chicago Bears are in a crucial year under the helm of head coach Matt Nagy. With rumors swirling of a potential firing after the 2020 season, the pressure is on for the Chicago Bears this season.

After going 12-4 in Nagy’s inaugural head-coaching season, they seemed to have taken a step back in 2019 after finishing the year 8-8. While the defense remained one of the best units in the NFL, despite the departure of Vic Fangio, the offense struggled to get going this past season.

Rookie running back David Montgomery didn’t produce the way most had expected and third-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky had issues with consistency. Additionally, the offensive line took a step back, with Kyle Long missing most of the season due to injury and Charles Leno had a down year coming off of a Pro Bowl season.

Going forward to free agency, they let go of veterans, Leonard FloydTaylor Gabriel, and Prince Amukamara but managed to retain linebacker Danny Trevathan. Additionally, they brought in former first-round castoffs Germain Ifedi and Artie Burns as well as signing veteran Robert Quinn to a five-year deal.

However, their most noteworthy move so far this offseason came in the form of trading a fourth-round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for quarterback Nick Foles and his contract. Both Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace said in an April 3rd press conference that there is an “open competition” at the quarterback position.

And with needs at positions such as tight end, guard, corner and potentially at quarterback, the Chicago Bears go into the 2020 NFL Draft with limited ammo to address those holes.
