Tyler Johnson, WR, Minnesota

Tyler Johnson will be a quality number two or slot receiver and in most drafts, would not even be a potential sleeper pick. However, with the depth at wide receiver this year, Johnson has started to slide down draft boards and should be a steal even if it comes in the fourth round.

He doesn’t have blazing speed and doesn’t create a ton of separation but he does have great hands and the ability to high point balls. He would give Dwayne Haskins a great downfield and red zone target for many years to come.

K.J. Hill, WR, Ohio State

K.J. Hill is projecting as strictly a slot receiver who shows his strengths in his ability to run crisp routes and his ability to catch everything thrown his way with a drop rate of just 3.3 percent in 2019. He showed at the combine that he is by no means a speed receiver, which is also shown on his tape, but he does show his quickness and ability to find holes in coverage which helps with his short route tree. Hill is currently projecting to be a late fourth or early fifth-round pick.

James Proche, WR, SMU

James Proche is another receiver with extremely reliable hands. He doesn’t show great speed and isn’t great at creating space for himself but he makes up for that with his hands and guts. He is a quarterback’s best friend in the slot and will sacrifice himself in the middle of the field for his team. If a team falls in love with his catching ability I could see him moving up draft boards but currently, he is projected as a late fifth, early sixth-round pick.
