Michael Ojemudia, CB, Iowa

Michael Ojemudia is not a day one starter but he does have some key strengths that could help the Redskins. Ojemudia has great tackling habits and drives downhill very well. He is primarily a zone corner and welcomes playing against the run.

He also has a great ability to read plays and anticipate throws in zone coverage however he struggles in man coverage due to his foot speed and acceleration. Ojemudia looks to be a fourth or fifth-round talent and could quickly progress to playing time in a zone coverage scheme.

Harrison Hand, CB, Temple

Harrison Hand is a player who could be moved to safety but he does fit a zone coverage scheme at cornerback as well. He is a good tackler and plays extremely physical for a corner. He plays with a passion and does a great job positioning himself but occasionally tries to jump routes early and will need to learn to be patient or teams could take advantage of that in the NFL.

Parnell Motley, CB, Oklahoma

Parnell Motley is my favorite of this group as he was snubbed from the combine after continually rating high on PFF’s efficiency ratings. He did this while lining up against receivers like Ja’Marr Chase, Denzel Mims,  Jalen Reagor and T.J. Vasher. Motley’s biggest weakness is his inconsistency and his ups and downs. He simply plays to the level of his competition every week.

He is an extremely physical corner for his size and prefers to play in press-man coverage. I think he could be a steal in the fifth or sixth round and could also play well in zone coverage. His pro day numbers were solid and he had a great comeback season after a down year in 2018. This would also be a great pairing as he attended Woodson High School in Washington D.C. and could head to his home team.
