Wisconsin. Tyler Biadasz. 53. Pick Analysis. Center/Guard. player. Scouting Report. 3

As quickly and as far as Logan Wilson has been rising, Wisconsin center Tyler Biadasz seems to be falling just the same. Once in the first-round conversation, Biadasz is falling to the fourth or fifth round in the majority of mock drafts right now.

That is an incredible value, in my mind, for the leader of one of the most productive blocking groups in the country over the past few seasons. Biadasz was at the center, both literally and figuratively, of the rushing attack that allowed Jonathan Taylor to put up insane career numbers as a Badger.

For the Cleveland Browns, Biadasz could step in and immediately compete for the starting spot at right guard. While an injury may have lowered his ceiling, causing him to fall as far as he has, Biadasz’s floor is as high as any lineman in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Despite returning from hip surgery, in 2019 Biadasz was still given the Rimington Award as the nation’s top center. He doesn’t have quite the level of athleticism that you would look for in a first-round pick, but at this point in the draft, his solid level of production is a steal.

He still has a very strong base to anchor down against big defensive tackles and has incredible hands to manipulate the defender where he wants him. He is very smart and a great leader on the offensive line.

A starting caliber lineman like Biadasz is hard to come by in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft, and he could absolutely start right away for the Cleveland Browns. Although he started every game of his three-year career at center for Wisconsin, I am confident that Biadasz could easily move one spot to the right and contribute immediately as a fourth/fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
