OL. Kyle Murphy. 50. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Rhode Island. 149. player

Kyle Murphy is not ready to come in and compete for a starting spot right away, but he is an athletically gifted offensive lineman who shows solid power at the point of attack. Murphy attacks the second-level well and shows plenty of upside in pass protection. He showed the ability to play both guard and tackle in college but is probably best suited inside at the next level.

Murphy is certainly a bit of a developmental selection, but he could grow into a valuable depth player for the Detroit Lions down the line.

WR. Liberty. Antonio Gandy-Golden. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 50. 166

Antonio Gandy-Golden did not play against the highest level of competition in college and he does not have high-level speed and quickness at the wide receiver position. That being said, he is a big and physical target who competes for the ball in the air extremely well. Gandy-Golden has a wide catch radius and incredible natural ball skills. He has a chance to be a fantastic contested-catch weapon on the outside at the next level and could be a huge value in this range.

Khalil Davis. player. 50. Scouting Report. IDL. Nebraska. 182. Pick Analysis

The Detroit Lions go back to the defensive line in the sixth round of this 2020 NFL mock draft, snagging Nebraska defensive tackle Khalil Davis. Davis is extremely quick off of the ball and plays with a consistently high motor. He is an explosive interior rusher who shows the ability to consistently create pressure from the interior as a one-gap penetrator.

Simply put, Davis is an extremely talented playmaker who can make an impact on the defensive side of the ball, even if it is in a limited role.

Jalen Elliott. 235. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. S. Notre Dame. 50

With their 11th and final pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Detroit Lions go back to their Senior Bowl squad and add former Notre Dame safety Jalen Elliott to the mix. Elliott is an extremely aggressive and physical player who shows good explosiveness in short spaces.

He is not the most naturally athletic player, but Elliott shows impressive defensive awareness and a high motor. He could eventually work his way into a third-safety role for this team and should provide immediate special teams value.
