On this April Fools’ Day, we here at NFL Mocks are not going to trick you. With all that is going on in the world, who needs that right now? Instead, we are going to dig into some 2020 NFL Draft prospects who are not worth their current stock.
Every year we see many players who end up going far too high. The NFL Draft is an inexact science. Teams can scout all they want and pour over all of the data, but busts are always going to happen. It is just part of the process.
Simply put, you can never 100% know how a player will translate to the next level until we see him on an NFL field. Until that time, we are simply trying our best to predict what will happen. We all get stuff wrong and so do NFL general managers and front offices. It’s just part of the business.
That being said, we do our best to evaluate these prospects and predict what will happen at the next level. In this post, I am going to try to pinpoint some of these potential NFL busts. These five players who we are going to talk about are all rated higher by the consensus and expected to go higher than I would take them in the 2020 NFL Draft if I were making decisions for a team.
