Right Tackle

The biggest loss that the Tennessee Titans suffered this offseason was their former All-Pro right tackle, Jack Conklin. Conklin was voted first-team All-Pro in his rookie season and has been a staple on the right side of the Titans offensive line ever since.

Just 25-years-old, Conklin has already solidified himself as one of the premier tackles in the game, with plenty left in the tank to benefit a franchise for years to come. But after wrapping up so much money in Tannehill and Henry, the Tennessee Titans just couldn’t afford to pay Conklin what he was worth on the open market.

While the Titans did resign versatile lineman Dennis Kelly and brought in former Atlanta Falcon Ty Sambrailo in free agency, but both players are better suited as depth options, filling in where and when needed rather than being relied upon as a starting option.

The 2020 NFL Draft has a rather deep and talented tackle class, allowing the Tennessee Titans to possibly bring in an immediate starter right away. Whether it is someone who played more left tackle in college who they believe can make the transition to the right side, or a player who is already comfortable at the position, the Tennessee Titans should definitely be looking at adding a starting-caliber right tackle early in the 2020 NFL Draft.
