With the 2020 NFL Draft less than a month away, we take a look at the top five team needs for the Tennessee Titans.

Commissioner Roger Goodell and the NFL have announced that although the festivities in Las Vegas will not go on as planned, the 2020 NFL Draft will, indeed, take place as scheduled beginning April 23rd. The Tennessee Titans and the other 31 teams in the league will perform the draft remotely, with very limited visits and access to the prospects.

The current pandemic is affecting the entire world, and the NFL is unfortunately not immune. But all teams will be in the same boat, relying heavily on tape, video calls and scouting experience to make the best calls for their franchise during the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Tennessee Titans made bringing back a couple of their key players from a season ago a priority to this point in the offseason. After locking in breakout quarterback Ryan Tannehill with a four-year, $118 million extension, general manager Jon Robinson, head coach Mike Vrabel and the Titans placed the franchise tag on running back Derrick Henry, who led the NFL in rushing a season ago.

After making the decision to move former second-overall pick Marcus Mariota to the bench in favor of Tannehill, the duo of Tannehill and Henry led the Tennessee Titans to the AFC Championship Game, knocking off all-time great Tom Brady and the team with the best record in the league, the Baltimore Ravens, on the way.

Aside from bringing those two players back, however, the Tennessee Titans have been pretty quiet in free agency to this point. They let Jack Conklin sign with the Cleveland Browns while their biggest addition, Vic Beasley, saw very few snaps in his last couple seasons in Atlanta after leading the NFL in sacks in 2016.

Needless to say, when you look at what the Tennessee Titans have done so far this offseason, it’s pretty clear that they will be relying on nailing the 2020 NFL Draft to fill some holes and keep their team competitive in the AFC.

In this article, we’ll take a look at five of those potential holes that the Tennessee Titans can fill in the 2020 NFL Draft that will help round out their roster. The Titans were one of the biggest surprises a season ago and will look to prove that they weren’t just a flash in the pan.
