Baylor. 29. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. player. 46. Denzel Mims

Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts have decided to put their franchise in the hands of 16-year veteran Philip Rivers for the next year. With solid offensive line and running back play it is time to focus on their receivers. The receiving corps for the Colts are very thin behind their leader, T.Y. Hilton. This group includes Zach Pascal and Parris Campbell but beyond that, it is a very thin group.

If the plan is to win now with Rivers, they have to move up and get him another target. Like I stated above, No. 29 is about where I see everyone trading up to get Mims and the Colts should be in the market. Moving to No. 29 will not cost them much as they hold the 34th and 44th overall picks which means their trading partner will only need to drop a few spots and would receive some combination of a second and a third/fourth-round pick.

They will also be focusing on trying to add a quarterback in the 2020 NFL Draft but their primary focus early has to be an outside receiver. If they can secure Mims and a quarterback in the second round they will be off to a great start in the 2020 NFL Draft.
