As we continue to inch closer to the 2020 NFL Draft, let’s take a look at some potential late-round sleeper targets for the Green Bay Packers.

After falling short in the NFC championship game this past season, the Green Bay Packers will look to improve upon an impressive first season from head coach Matt LaFleur in 2020. That being said, the team has been surprisingly quiet in free agency thus far in 2020.

They brought in former Cleveland Brown Christian Kirksey to man the middle of the field at linebacker and signed a new right tackle in Rick Wagner after letting Bryan Bulaga test the market. Outside of those two moves, the Packers have lost more than they’ve gained.

On top of Bulaga, Green Bay let linebackers Kyler Fackrell and Blake Martinez find gigs with the New York Giants, as well as Jimmy Graham, who landed with a division rival, the Chicago Bears.

After creating more holes than they filled, the 2020 NFL Draft will be vital for the Packers to find talent at several key positions. As of now, the team has ten total draft picks, with six of them being in rounds five through seven. While there is certainly a chance they use those late picks to land another day 2 prospect, it will still be important to find some draft sleepers with their remaining selections.

With this being a deep draft at several positions of need, I think it’s entirely possible for the Green Bay Packers to find a name or two in the later rounds that can contribute right away. Look out for these names as we reach the later-half of the 2020 NFL Draft.
