Colts general manager Chris Ballard clearly loves speed and explosive athleticism on the defensive side of the ball and Justin Strnad certainly fits the bill. Strnad is an incredibly quick and athletic linebacker prospect who shows impressive sideline-to-sideline speed. He is also a dependable coverage linebacker who attacks the ball in the air extremely well.
Strnad is certainly a bit on the small side for a linebacker, but mobility wins out in today’s NFL. He is an extremely talented linebacker prospect who undoubtedly has big-time upside at the next level. He may not be an immediate contributor on the defensive side of the ball, but his upside is worth the investment and he should be able to make an immediate impact on special teams.

With their final pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, the Indianapolis Colts go back to the interior defensive line. Benito Jones is a massive man in the middle of the defensive line. He shows some power at the point of attack and does two-gap at a high level at times. Jones is also an extremely quick player for his size showing strong first-step quickness and impressive natural burst through the line of scrimmage.
