LSU. Saahdiq Charles. 3. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. player. 817

Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 321 pounds

The Colts have arguably the best offensive line in the entire NFL, especially when we just look at their five starters. Anthony Castonzo, Quenton Nelson, Ryan Kelly, Mark Glowinski and Braden Smith from left to right are simply as good as it gets. That being said, the Indianapolis Colts do lack impact depth across their offensive front. In the third round of this 2020 NFL mock draft, they address their offensive line depth with the selection of Saahdiq Charles.

Charles is an extremely raw player who has footwork and technique issues to clean up, but his natural ability is obvious. Charles is a quick and athletic offensive tackle prospect who shines in space. He is a tremendous second-level blocker who also shows quick feet and high-level mirror ability in pass protection.

Adding Charles to the mix would give the Colts a developmental tackle who they could bring along slowly. He could provide solid depth as a rookie while also bringing a ton of long-term upside.

IDL. Jordan Elliott. 822. Missouri. 4. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 302 pounds
College Stats (26 games): 76 total tackles (18 for loss), 5.5 sacks, 4 passes defended

The Colts undoubtedly improved their interior defensive line situation with the selection of Buckner, but they could still use some depth at the position. Jordan Elliott feels like a great value in this range and would be a strong pick for the Colts.

Elliott is a big and powerful defensive lineman who holds his own well at the line of scrimmage. He also shows impressive first-step quickness and plenty of upfield burst as a pass rusher. Elliott can handle some two-gap responsibilities and has plenty of upside as a one-gap penetrator. He would provide solid immediate depth for this team and a ton of long-term value.
