Chase Claypool 2020 NFL Draft

With their top pick in the third round, the Broncos add the big, physical, athletic specimen out of Notre Dame — Chase Claypool.

Imagine trying to defend this offense with the weapons they have added in the offseason and in this mock draft scenario.

Claypool is 6-foot-4, 238 pounds, and ran a 4.43 in the 40-yard dash with a 40.5-inch vertical jump.

He is a tremendous athlete with production to match, but more than just his skills as a wide receiver, Claypool is an excellent blocker and special teams player, which will help him have a role right away.

He would give the Broncos a top four at the receiver position of:

  • Courtland Sutton
  • Henry Ruggs
  • DaeSean Hamilton
  • Chase Claypool

The Broncos undoubtedly have to add two receivers in this draft. Adding the dynamic athletic talents of Henry Ruggs and Chase Claypool would make this team fascinating.
