The 49ers moved back a couple of spots earlier in the mock draft and managed to still get Javon Kinlaw.

Here, they come away with one of the more physical corners in the 2020 NFL Draft in Trevon Diggs.

Diggs is a former wide receiver who has the ideal build for the cornerback position at 6-foot-1, 205 pounds. He doesn’t have as much experience at the cornerback position as you would like, but who better to study from than a former wide receiver turned future Hall of Fame cornerback in Richard Sherman?

Diggs will get the opportunity to understudy Sherman with the 49ers while giving them a physical weapon on the back end of their secondary.

Their aggressive style of defense suits his skill set perfectly and would give the 49ers a nice duo of prospects in the first round of this draft.
