After trading both Jalen Ramsey and AJ Bouye, the Jacksonville Jaguars have to look into bringing in some new players at the cornerback position.
Has anyone been mocked to the Jags more than CJ Henderson at this point?
It almost feels like an inevitable move, but why? Does it make sense from a value perspective?
Although Henderson is not known for his tackling abilities, he certainly has everything else you look for in a cornerback prospect.
Henderson’s size profile and athleticism are outstanding, so it’s clear he has all of the physical tools to excel right away in the NFL.
He has to be more disciplined, but the Jaguars are not in the hunt necessarily for the last piece of the puzzle. They are in need of players to develop, and Henderson could have some of the highest upside in this draft at the position.
We know he can attack the ball in the air, so even if he goes through some ups and downs as a rookie, this is a talent worth taking a shot on.
