After trading up to get Henry Ruggs with their top pick, the Oakland Raiders get one of the more obvious fits for their team in this draft class — Kenneth Murray.

Last year, the Raiders emphasized guys who bleed football, and Murray is one of those types of guys.

A film junky who is an asset both on the field and off, Murray is one of the most entertaining linebackers to watch in this draft class.

He can blitz, he can play sideline-to-sideline, he makes plays behind the line of scrimmage, and he attacks the football, sometimes with a little too much reckless abandon.

With this pickup, however, the Las Vegas Raiders can complete a brand-new trio of linebackers, all with different skills.

Murray is a big, physical player who excels in the trenches and has the athleticism to work in coverage, though he needs some work there.

He would join Cory Littleton, one of the best coverage linebackers in the league, as well as Nick Kwiatkoski, a breakout player this past season with the Chicago Bears.

With Littleton and Murray on the outside and Kwiatkoski manning the middle, the Raiders would have one of the strongest looking revamped linebacker groups in the NFL.
